The switching of sides for service during any tiebreak shall follow the Coman Tiebreak Procedure.

Flight playoffs will be single elimination when there are two or more flights in a playing level. Winners of the flight playoffs will advance to section championships.  Refer to ODTA League Rules & Regulations 27.

The minimum number of players on a team is 8, maximum 16 players.  The League fee is $26 per player.

* Some Sunday matches may be required.

Important Rule Changes for 2015

  1. 2014 teams that advanced to, or qualified for National Championships are allowed to move up an NTRP team level and play in another age group within the same division.

Adult Championship Players Mixed Championship Players

  2. Players may move up and combine with no more than three national championship players who are playing in the same Division and NTRP level as the previous year (see Split Up Rule). Those players who participated on 2014 national championship teams at both levels within the same Division will be counted towards the Three Player Limit.

  3. No Three Player Limit for crossover between Adult and Mixed Divisions.

    b)  Any number of Mixed National Championship players may play on a 2015 Adult team only if they did not also advance to, or qualify for any 2014 Adult National Championship.

  4. Move Up/Split Up requirements apply only to players who participated in 3 or more matches, excluding defaults, for that team during the championships year.

  5. All Divisions Split Up Rule (Three Player Limit):  No more than 3 players (2 for Adult 2.5 and 5.0+) who were on the roster of any team or combination of teams, that advanced to, or qualified for, any National Championship the previous year may play together in any age group within the same Division and NTRP level or lower NTRP level (if their NTRP rating allows) as the National Championship team.
